As the title states, I love taking pictures of people because they can move and manipulate themselves in a countless number of ways. With people, you could have a variety of subjects and get as creative as you want (within reason, of course). In this post, I include several portrait photos. Let me know which is your favorite!
While these pictures aren’t anywhere near perfect, I think they capture a certain mood. Getting the first pose (with the guitar on his shoulder) was tricky, but we got it to work and it turned out well!
These ones were taken with completely natural light. I was happy the model allowed me to take this shot, as I thought it’d be clever. Stranger things have happened.
For these shots, I used various types of flash photography. While the subjects were in a dark space, such as a forest or under an archway, the flash allowed for them to stand out while still maintaining good background exposure.
For the most part, the models in these photos were just having fun. The one on the bottom was more rehearsed, while the one on top was simply four friends having a fun time together (and I captured it at the right moment).
